Becky Sheetz-Runkle Sensei began
training under Hutchins Sensei in 1996. She currently lives in
Northern Virginia, but continues to train under Hutchins Sensei.
Sensei Sheetz-Runkle runs the Woodbridge, VA dojo. She is committed
to teaching and training in this art and has lived and breathed
martial arts for 17 years. Previously, she studied karate and
kickboxing and holds an E Dan (2nd Degree, Korean) in Tang Soo Do
under Master John Weaver, and a Sho Dan in Shotokan under Sensei
Rick Litton.
Giovanni Colon, Renshi Shichi Dan (7th Degree Black Belt)
Gio has
been studying martial arts since 1990 and, aside from his current
rank in Sho Bushido, He also holds a First Degree Black Belt in
Karate. His training in Aiki-jujutsu began in 1994 under the
instruction of Sensei Raul Claros who educated him in Meikaku Ryu
Aiki-jujutsu. A few years after moving to PA, He was fortunate
enough to find Hutchins Sensei and Sho Bushido Ryu with the help of
Sensei Becky and he has been with them since 2001.

Uche
Anusionwu, Yon Dan (4th Degree Black Belt)
Uche Anusionwu Sensei, a native of Nigeria, has been studying combatitive martial arts since the age of 5. He is Hutchins Sensei's senior student who is actively teaching and training in Philadelphia. He began his training under Hutchins Sensei many years ago, and has devoted his life to cultivating reality-based combat martial arts with an emphasis on fluid and precise technique. While working in New York for two years, Anusionwu Sensei traveled to Philadelphia every weekend to train under and teach for Hutchins Sensei. He also holds a San Dan in Shito Ryu.

Tagbo Emejulu, Yon Dan (4th Degree Black Belt)
Tagbo Emejulu Sensei, a native of Nigeria, began studying under Hutchins Sensei in 1996. He has been training in martial arts for over 19 years, including "street boxing" and Aikido. Recently, he graduated from Duke University where he taught ju jitsu to his classmates. Tagbo returned to the Philadelphia area in 2002 and is training and instructing students at the Sho Bushido Ryu Philadelphia location.
David Runkle, Sho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt)
David began studying jujitsu in 2000.
He received his Sho Dan in 2003 during a test he was forced to take
with the use of only one arm. He is the assistant instructor of the
Woodbridge, VA dojo. He
is currently working toward his Ni Dan in Sho Bushido Ryu, despite
nagging injuries. He has no interest in studying any other systems,
because he believes Sho Bushido Ryu is the complete system for his
self defense needs.
